Description
This mug holds approximately 8oz. The bottom is trimmed. Microwave and Dishwasher Safe
The clay body is Trinity White Stoneware and the glaze is Ravenscrag Slip.
The item is hand thrown on the wheel, dried to leather hard and then trimmed. When it is completely dry, it is bisque fired (low fired) and then dipped in a hand mixed glaze. The final firing was to cone 10 (about 2300 F with a very slow rise towards the end). After the glaze firing, the bottoms are sanded smooth.
