Pottery keeps you humble

Making pottery has a way of keeping you humble.

This is a big bowl that was dry and ready to go into the bisque kiln. I went to move it over just a bit to make room and it slipped out of my hand. It’s about 12″ across.

I’ll recycle it…eventually…I need a bit more emotional distance.
